Yes! Wanderland Wellness is by appointment only.
Wear whatever makes you comfortable! We recommend wearing clothes that are easy to change in and out of. It doesn't matter too much what you wear, most people undress for thier treatment as a sheet or towel will be used to drape the body, exposing only the part of the body that is being worked on. Take off as much clothing as you feel comfortable. However, you should always remove your shirt so your esthetician can access your face, neck, and shoulders. You can leave your bra on if it makes you more comfortable, just be sure to pull the straps down so your esthetician can give you a proper neck and shoulder massage. Just remember that changing back into tight or uncomfortable clothes after your facial may not be the most comfortable way to end such a relaxing service.
There is no need - you can arrive with makeup still on! The cleansing portion of the facial will happen even if you are not wearing makeup, so it won't take away any time from the treatment. If you can, it is recommended to arrive without makeup on, but it is not necessary. Just stick to your regular skin care routine so your esthetician can clearly analyze your skin and customize your treatment accordingly.
The more information you can give you esthetician, the better! We recommend:
#1. Being prepared to discuss your top three skin care concerns.
In order for you to get the most benefits from your facial experience, you should think about this beforehand. This will allow your esthetician to be able to customize your treatment or recommend a treatment that will better fit your concerns.
#2. Bring along a detailed list of your current skin care products.
It very helpful for your esthetician to see what you’ve been using on your skin. This helps to determine if your current products are addressing your most important skin care concerns or if certain treatments/products are contraindicated.
#3. Check your calendar.
Let your esthetician know ahead of time if your appointment is the same day of or in preparation for an event you are attending. There are certain treatments and techniques they will avoid to minimize the possibility of redness or breakouts.
